Oh darn, I'm finished before I even really got started. I failed to post yesterday, so I broke the NaBloPoMo objective to post every day for the month of November. I have a really good reason for my absence though. I forgot. Yup, plain and simple, no dogs involved, no dying relatives. When you're not used to doing it, its not a habit. My blog wasn't even listed on the NaBloPoMo site, so I guess I didn't even register correctly (I'm not a computer whiz, as evidenced by my very primitive blog). Oh well, I'll still keep posting just to see for myself if I can do it. Once I get more comfortable with writing, maybe my posts will magically become interesting! One can hope.

Weird. Eldest son, who is 4 yrs (5 in two weeks!) suddenly stopped wanting to use his bathroom. I couldn't figure out why. He finally told me, "No picture." and I understood. I had just put up a big photo collage frame of our recent vacation to Disneyworld. He was so bothered by this huge collage that he couldn't possibly take a tinkle in the same room as it. I took it down, he walked in the bathroom and lifted the seat, ready to go. I replaced the picture with a smaller print of a little boy and that was fine with him. Was it the pictures of himself that got to him? Did it look like that people were staring at him when he was trying to do his business? That actually makes pretty good sense to me, b/c he tells me to "Walk away!" if I linger in the bathroom too long while he's trying to go. Weird.
